We held a short Act of Remembrance outside on the playground as a school to mark Remembrance Day. We were disappointed that The Royal British Legion were unable to attend but pleased that we were permitted to hold a socially distanced commemoration. A two-minute silence was held during the service and a representative from each ‘Class Bubble’ laid a wreath of remembrance poppies. Like so many things this year, the Poppy Appeal has had to adapt to the threat of COVID-19 and The Royal British Legion are calling on the public to support them like never before, because every poppy counts. Thank you for your support.
