Our second inter-school PE event was held in November. Each ‘Class Bubble’ took part in a Remembrance-themed Orienteering Challenge around the school grounds and the points were then collated for each ‘Family Group.’ We had brilliant autumn sunshine for the children, as they exercised orienteering skills suited to their age. The younger pupils found poppies and matched pictures, while the older children found words associated with Remembrance which they had to find the meaning of and use to complete a crossword. The children showed excellent ‘PE Heart Values’ for the competition and after totalling the scores from the event Maple won with 10 points, followed by Oak with 8 points, Pine with 7 points and Ash with 5 points.
