General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
The implementation of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) on the 25th May 2018 which replaces the 1998 Data Protection Act has far reaching implications for our school.
Shellingford CE (A) Primary School is a Church of England Primary School in the midst of a rural community. With our church at the heart, we celebrate our cultural heritage and explore our talents. Our fantastic children are proud of their school and of their learning and achievements. They are committed to improving their learning and the school is committed to them.

It is responsible for safeguarding the data it holds and is legally bound under the GDPR to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal information processed. These responsibilities extend to other organisations working on behalf of the school.
The school will only ever hold personal data that it is required or permitted to hold in accordance with lawful processing provisions.
